The Journey Continues, Part G

The last day in Jan. we left Galveston, TX for Reunion Lake RV park in Ponchatoula, LA, which is about an hour North of New Orleans.  It was a great park.  Lots of retirees, many who return yearly.  Many come for several months  but we were there only for Feb.  I got out my machine and enjoyed some sewing.  We visited Sonic just outside our park almost daily for half price drinks, had fun at the socials, and met some nice people.

Free time here so I got out my sewing machine and started a baby quilt.  Pat helped me design it.  Lots of math involved!

Attempted some requested sewing for Samira.  Limited success being so far away.

Ferry ride from Galveston allowed us to miss the traffic of Houston.

I became addicted to Five Crowns.

A cafe near Ponchatoula with stuffed beignets.
