Aliens tonight?πŸ‘½

This is our first night to stay on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land.  Basically, it's nothing but a place to park, but in our case it's close to Area 51.

Area 51 is a highly classified U. S. Air Force facility located within the Nevada Test and Training Range.  The facility is officially called Homey Airport or Groom Lake, but is commonly called Area 51.

Since it is off limits to civilians, and little is known about what they do there, UFO enthusiasts have put theories out from the beginning that it is related to UFO or alien research.  Did they bring the UFO or aliens from the supposed Roswell, NM UFO crash here?  Some people wonder!

We came across The Alien Research Center, a gift shop, as we started down the Extraterrestrial Highway.

A trash can on either side of the road marks Coyote Summit where we will stay Tuesday night.

Pat on the first summit.

Pat is a dot near the summit.

Pat was headed up to the top to see if he could spot Area 51. I told him it wasn't a good idea!  This was the last picture I have.  Our walkie-talkie communication has stopped and he should be back by now.  I'm starting to get a little worried!😟  I just got something.  It looks like his phone uploaded  this video.

Internet coverage is so spotty here, not sure when this will post.

*********UPDATE*********

Pat made it back.  He doesn't remember anything after he left the RV, but he said his bum's a little sore!

Where are the Piepers now?  Coyote Summit, NV.
