Immersive Van Gogh, Scottsdale

Heading down to Immersive Van Gogh.

You won't find a lot of spoilers here.   Non-flash pictures were allowed,  and I took plenty, but this is something you have to experience first-hand!  It isn't a still-picture experience, it is very immersive.  Unbeliebably amazing and worth a drive.

*  Van Gogh created 2,100 art pieces (900 paintings) in his short 10 year career, but only sold one painting.
*  In 1990 a Van Gogh was sold for 82.5 million.
*  Van Gogh cut off his own ear.
*  He painted Starry Nights while he was in a mental hospital.
*  In 1890, after suffering with mental illness for years, he shot himself in the chest and died 2 days later from an infection.
*  He painted a lot of self- portraits and
some of his most famous paintings were of sunflowers.

Before our Van Gogh experience we strolled around the shops in the area. Impressive fountain.

We returned to The Original Chopshop for a treat.  My chocolate chia pudding looked a lot better before I dug in, but it was SOOO good and no dairy.

Directly across from The Original Chopshop was the Immersive Van Gogh experience at the Lighthouse in Scottsdale.

Self-portrait.  He actually painted with candles on his hat so he could work into the night.  This was one of two rooms we were in and in this one the floor was reflective.

After a dirt storm Lieman got a bath and a wax.
Where are the Piepers now?  Casa Grande, AZ
