Once again, "Gia's Italian Kitchen"

Sunday night at 5 we tuned in to Gia's Italian Kitchen for an appetizer class. We were emailed a shopping list, needed supplies, and recipes in advance. Did I mention FREE?? Tonight: Baked  Brie with Lemon Basil Pesto and The Best Meatballs Ever! It was delicious and fun! From start to finish just about an hour. We really enjoy the private interactive cooking classes too. Fun to cook with our boys and their families from afar. As well as a variety of classes, there are recipes, videos and more on Kelley's sites.

I feel like Forest Gump and shrimp: body surfing, surfing, paddleboarding, kite surfing, wind surfing, wing surfing (also called hydrofoil surfing), power surfing and there's probably more! Wow, I'm not sure I've gotten them all straight but pretty sure we've seen most of these the past couple of weeks. It looks like sooo much fun and 30 years ago it would have been.

Saturday was a fantastic day at 79°, sunny, and winds that made all kinds of surfers happy.

This is a surfboard with a hydrofoil below. The hydrofoil rides just below the surface of the water making it seem like the surfer's is in the air. 

Weather turned on Sun. Strong winds out of the north, highs barely 60°, and the waves were angry looking. No surfers today. 

Nice day for a cooking class!

Sun. winds were low, ocean very calm and temperatures were back near 70°.

Plows were out clearing sand that covered walkways on Sunday.
