This was the first time we were able to experience the largest three-day Regatta. This was the 58th year of the annual event. The Charles River is over 80 miles long and is one of the three major metropolitan rivers ìn Boston. This year they expected 11,000 rowers from around the world to race (time trials) in the 3 mile event, along with 200,000 spectators. We had nice weather for viewing Friday, but Saturday it rained all day.
