The beaches, city streets, and highways are busy with cars, rvs, golf carts, and kids everywhere! The population of Port Aransas is just over 3,000 but Pat heard it had 80,000 beds. Pretty sure most of those are full this week and next!
| We are in the best RV park. Everyone is so welcoming. An inside joke, these signs are everywhere.

We took the ferry over to Aransas Pass to do some shopping Mon. With the ferry it takes about the same amount of time as going to Corpus Christi but the distance is shorter. We had no wait going but about 30 mins. on the way back. |
I love walking around Port Aransas. There is so much fun stuff to see.

We decided to drive further down the beach to get a better feel for spring break. Around marker 33 it was wild. They had a flat bed and kids everywhere! Some interesting signs, let me tell you. We had to continue several miles down the beach to find an exit because a fire broke out (not from us) and we couldn't go back the same way we came.

A group of alumni?, with their respective school flags, watching the festivities. |

We missed open mic night at The Gaff. |

Oh my, the brownies!! |

This pod house was so unique. We actually saw another similar one. There were connecting sections and each section had only one center post holding that section up. |

Portable internet tower to accommodate the large number of people here this week and next. |
On our area of the beach it's mostly families on spring break but there are still more people here than our first week. I've been staying away from the beach this week but tonight I took a walk down there. It was in the 70's, sunny, and a nice breeze today. It made for a beautiful evening.
Where are the Piepers now? Port Aransas, TX
