🤟

So proud of our granddaughter Emma (2nd from the right). Emma's high school offers classes in American sign language and Friday night was their Christmas program.

Friday night we were lucky enough to see the LaPorte, TX School District's ASL Christmas Program. It was amazing! No, Emma is not hearing impaired. Emma is a sophomore and this is her second year of sign language (it is one of the foreign language options). LaPorte schools have offered ASL as a class for 19 years. The program was two hours long and consisted of large and small groups signing Christmas carols to a full auditorium. A special invitation was extended to the hearing-impaired in the community.

Sorry, it's a well used program!

Alexa went to the 6th grade dance.

Advent Calendar Day 9: Dreams of Summer Rosato from Italy, Red Leicester Cheese and an Almond Sprinkle, Gianduja (Belgian Hazlenut Chocolate) with salted caramelized almonds. Alexa said the chocolate was good.
Where are the Piepers now? Houston, TX
