Pat can do just about anything!

Advent Calendar Day 2 consisted of Through The Forest a Pinot Gris from Hungary, Red Pesto Gouda, and a Cappuccino Chocolate.

Today we learned that we need to pull out the wine-of-the-day in the morning in case it needs refrigeration.

Today was toilet replacement day, a 20 minute job, he said. I did not reply. Several hours and 3 stores later it was in with no leaks on the outside and water staying inside the bowl. I mentioned the 20 minute job. Pat said it did only take 20 minutes to put the toilet in, it was fixing the leaks and trying to get water to stay in the bowl that took so long. Whatever! At one point he went outside to turn on the water and I was suppose to watch for leaks. There isn't a lot of room in the bathroom and I'm bent over trying to watch for leaks and a hose size stream starts going everywhere. I yelled loud but when that much water is coming out it seems like it takes forever to turn it off. No leak, he forgot to shut the valve. There were a couple of leaks but we now have a working toilet. Thanks Pat for being able to fix anything!

A standpipe water tower is a ground supported storage tank with a height that is greater than its diameter. They were popular water storage structures from the middle 1800's through the early 1900's. Several are still used.

Standpipe water tower in Tallapoosa, GA built in 1890. Sitting on top of a hill it welcomes visitors and can be seen a mile away.

Across from the water tower stands what started as an entrance to the town and gradually became an outdoor art park. Pat said it's a lot of junk, I see a lot of interesting art.
